Information On Computer

Computer is electronic machine and the word computer is recorded in 1613 and the word was referring the person who does lots of calculations, computations or data collector etc.,  the word had its meaning as the same until the middle of 20th century and it began change from ‘a person to machine is that from end’ of 19th century.  From that it means a machine carrying out a large number of computations works is called a computer.  The history of the modern computer started with two technologies such as automated calculation and programmability. 

As there are mechanical calculating devices such as abacus, slide rule and the term computer is used for different application in the early times and hence no single device is called as computer that time.  Then third Generation of computers is called as Mainframes are powerful computers and the term is referred to large cabinets with the central processing unit and the memory is like of early computers.  These types of computers were used for critical applications, large or bulk data processing like census, industries, and consumer statistics and also for financial transactions.   what is the full form of computer – it is Common – output – machine – purposefully – used for – technical – educational – research.
